Not sure what you mean by configure away the inner ring. Do you mean
the sampler (the 12 boxes), the main hue ring (the continuous rainbow
outer), or the grey negative-space rings that provide background
 neutrality?

I mean the sampler boxes. If they can be disabled, the inner s/v selector
would get almost the same amount of space as in the GTK selector, so it can
serve as a real replacement.

But probably not for 0.9.0 any more because we are in string freeze, so we
can't add labels with new text.

And David Revoy (IIRC) also told me he misses the color pick button.

Might need to find some sample code for the pick part of that: it's
 not a standard GTK widget.

colorpicker.py and pick_color_at_pointer() already do most of that.

Re: [Mypaint-discuss] MyPaint 0.9 brush collection tilt icon

 Hi,
A little update of my work on the kit, with the tilt icon as promised on IRC
 : http://www.davidrevoy.com/XYZ/brushes-mypaint-pack.zip
In attachement a preview of screenshots. I tried to kept it simple and
subtle. They are in 'classic' folder ; markers + impressionism + puantilism.
 ++ ;)

Merged now, thanks a lot!
Now, the only thing that needs to be done is to move some brushes over
from classic to experimental, to keep classic under 35 brushes (at
least 5). Does anyone have suggestions for which ones that should be?
