crle is your friend for LD_LIBRARY_PATH problems on Solaris (8,9 and 10).

Can you run the plugins from the command line as the nagios user? That
might provide more interesting information. Try also using 'ldd /path/
to/broken/plugin' to see what libraries it's expecting and verify that
they exist in the specified paths.
