Yes -- http://www.nagios.org/faqs/viewfaq.php?faq_id=22 I've run two copies of 1.x concurrently in the past and am currently running a copy of 1.3 and a copy of 2.0rc1 on the same machine. I generally find that it's easiest to recompile with a different --prefix, make install and copy over modified config files. Is there some specific issue you're trying to resolve by running multiple instances?
