Ok so I haven't had too many replies to my first post.(thanks Pati for the
warm welcome back, you have always been one of my favorite nailtech mentors
and friends)
I haven't been in the biz for over 3 yrs and I'm starting at my new salon on
Monday. I have several questions:
1) I'm thinking of purchasing another e-file. My current U-power needs some
maintenance and I was wondering where I could the best bang for my buck. I
have seen several in the magsPN125 is one I am entertaining and one from
RAM products. Any advice?
My personal opinion? KUPA Mani-Pro SuperMax. My first real efile
purchase.. so far, it's great! I love it!
2) I used Creative mainly in my other shops and am kinda wondering what
everyone else is using right now. I have been outta the loop for so long and
saw many new products in the mags. I went to a Tammy Taylor class and Im
just not sure I like the way the product works. I mean it's holding up
great! But, the workability is so different from what I am used to.
Can o' worms here, darlin' .. smilz. EVERYone has their own favorite product
and a whole list of why's and why nots, but I am a CND die-hard. AC and
gel. I tried Tammy Taylor once. ONCE. the mix ratio is very different from
CND so, naturally, it was difficult for me at one sitting to master
application with it.. But. bottom line: it is just a matter of what works
for you.
3) How are stiletto nails formed? NO CLUE on this one.. I don't do them...
4) What exactly are the MINX nails? Their website is not that informational
in my opinion.

you.. Their website is very informative and I think you will find most of
the answers to your questions there... but Minx is the newest product on the
market for nail bling!
5) Are P/W's still going to be the mainstream of my business? I would
definitely say yes. I dunno.. maybe. possibly. haha! That is largely going
to depend on how your market yourself.
6) And when did they move the Premier Orlando show to June? U..
hellifino! I thought it just was this year!
Well, that's all I can think of for now. I feel so out of it and
overwhelmed. Please help me out.
