[NTG-context] \hyphenatedurl problem

2015-04-10 Thread Rik
With versions from 20150325 and earlier, the following example code
produced nicely wrapped URLs. With current betas, the URLs do not wrap.

(Perhaps this is what Wolfgang meant when he wrote, in a reply in the
thread _Turning off French character spacing_:

   The \url and \hyphenatedurl need to be fixed

but I do not know that for sure.)

   \setupinteraction[state=start]
   \starttexdefinition href #1
  \goto{\hyphenatedurl{#1}}[url(#1)]
   \stoptexdefinition

\useURL[aUrl][https://Some.awfullylong.net/url_with_lots_of_places_to.html?make=a_reasonable]

\useURL[bUrl][https://Some.awfullylong.net/url_with_lots_of_places_to.html?make=a_reasonable][][\hyphenatedurl{https://Some.awfullylong.net/url_with_lots_of_places_to.html?make=a_reasonable}]
   \starttext
   goto href macro:

\href{https://Some.awfullylong.net/url_with_lots_of_places_to.html?make=a_reasonable}\par
   useURL without hyphenatedurl \from[aUrl]\par
   useURL with hyphenatedurl \from[bUrl]\par
   \stoptext

the next beta will provide

item head=yes

  div class=itemgroup itemize symbol-n level-1
   div class=item head-yes
div class=itemtag1./div
div class=itemcontentHead 1 div
class=break!--empty--/div

   div class=item head-yes
div class=itemtag2./div
div class=itemcontentHead 2 div
class=break!--empty--/div
Test 4/div
   /div
  /div

Ok, but 'Head 1' and 'Head 2' are still not tagged, so we can't
translate the actual head, e.g.,

\setupitemize[each][headstyle=bold]

into css, while leaving the paragraph after the break unaffected.

Current workaround:

==
\definestartstop[heading][style=]

\startitemize[n]
\starthead {\startheading Head 1 \stopheading}

Test 1
\stophead
\starthead {\startheading Head 2 \stopheading}

Test 2
\stophead
\stopitemize
=
  div class=itemgroup itemize symbol-n level-1
   div class=item head-yes
div class=itemtag1./div
div class=itemcontentdiv class=construct headingHead
1/divdiv class=break!--empty--/div
Test 1/div
   /div
   div class=item head-yes
div class=itemtag2./div
div class=itemcontentdiv class=construct headingHead
2/divdiv class=break!--empty--/div
Test 2/div
   /div
  /div
===

ok, you now get (next beta) ... that's all you get (too much mess
otherwise)

   item kind=head
itemtag2./itemtag
itemcontentitemheadHead 2/itemhead itembodyTest
2/itembody/itemcontent

   /item

Just tested, works nicely... Thank you Hans!

Best wishes

Re: [NTG-context] \placefootnotes bug?

Hi Idris,

I’m afraid it may be a bug.

The issue doesn’t show with stable version from 2014.01.03 00:40.

It seems to be triggered when either after or before contain \blank in
\setupnotation.

Just in case it might help,

\setting up whitespace in the middle of mechanisms that make an
assumption about whitespace when it starts is kind of not-done so this
better:

\setupnotation
   [footnote]
   [before=,
indenting={yes,big},
after=]

with

\startsubject[title=Endnotes]
 \start
 \setupwhitespace[none]
 \placefootnotes
 \stop
\stopsubject

Thanks. But even rewriting the test file this way still doesn't allow me
to control *inter*-note spacing: Yes, \setupwhitespace[none] in your
example does *both* *intra*-note as well as as *inter*-note spacing but I
want to configure inter-note spacing independently. I did find a
workaround:

\setupnotation
  [footnote]
  [before=,
   indenting={yes,big},
   after={\vskip3ex}]
%   after={\blank}]

works, but the \blank version doesn't. So there is still a bug somewhere I
think...
