[NTG-context] Help with configuring Textadept to work with ConTeXt

Hi folks,

i am having a hard time to configure Textadept to work with CTX on 
Windows 10. I've also searched around but can't find any usefull tutorial.


What I've done so far:
- I downloaded and installed CTX (first-setup.bat --modules=all) and I 
added "...\texmf-win64\bin" to my system path
- I downloaded and unzipped Textadept and also added the folder to my 
system path.
- I opened a *.tex file with Textadept and pressed "Tools->Compile" but 
I only got an error message:

Now I am wondering why Textadept does choose MiKTeX as I have placed 
ConTeXt above MiKTeX in my system path.
I also tried to extract the scintillua*** lexers into Textadept's lexer 
folder but still. No pdf can be created.


I also searched Textadept's files for context entries but there is 
nothing i could change to make TA compile a file in MkIV.


Did anybody manage to get Context to work with TA and could provide some 
help? Thanks in advance.

I had not noticed the comma and, yes, you are right, when I remove the comma I 
get an active url which opens a page on the desired site but without contents. 
When I add the comma in the address I get the desired page. I could add this 
instruction to the footnote but that seems to me to be a bit odd.

I think I did not state the problem clear enough.
The solution given here supposes that the fontsize is known beforehand.
However, what I am doing is calculating a font size based on the current one 
and than switch to that size.
It is part of a fontsize changing mechanism inside an xmlsetup. In short what I 
am doing is:

\scratchdimen=\the\dimexpr\bodyfontsize\relax
\advance\scratchdimen 'somevalue' \relax
% \definebodyfontenvironment[\the\scratchdimen]
\begingroup
% must keep the change local
\switchtobodyfont[\the\scratchdimen]
...
\endgroup

The commented out \definebodyfontenvironment kills a lot of the font messages 
but I fear that each the time the same work is done as without it. The only 
benefit being the suppression of the font messages in the log ;-)

It might be impossible to accomplish this efficiently -- that is execute the 
font calculations once only for the given size. But at least I would like to 
give it a try.

[NTG-context] Latin setupmathematics

In order to align with Unicode, \setupmathematics might have Latin shape 
options, as the Greek ‘lcgreek’ and ‘ucgreek', say ‘lclatin' and ‘uclatin', 
both defaulting to ’italic’. Unicode added the Latin italic symbols to the Math 
Alphanumeric Symbols range, so the upright letters are inaccessible when italic 
is assigned to the Basic Latin (ASCII) range.

Can any of you explain, or, better, suggest a remedy for, the following problem:

I want active urls in footnotes. With the same setups and correct urls, some of 
them become active and some others not.

I installed it on OS X 10.11.5 Beta in /Applications/ConTeXt. Then it turns out 
that adding ‘context’ to the PATH by a script
  exec /Applications/ConTeXt/tex/texmf-osx-64/bin/context "$@“
isn’t enough, because it gets hold of the older LuaTeX version from TeX Live 
2015 which is also in the path. However, running ‘setuptex’ works.

One can download a LilyPond binary to /Applications/, and its binaries then has 
lookup paths set properly to itself. Then scripts as those above have the 
advantage of not interfering with other binaries with the same name.
