[NTG-context] drop cap (initial) and indentation

With the following minimal example:

\placeinitial S{\bf{\kap uppose we}} have a system for the approval of
loans. \input knuth

both the initial and the bold stuff after it is indented. With hoffset I can 
move the initial, but not what comes after. I have been experimenting but 
haven’t found a way to solve this.

PS. switching \kap and \bf has an interesting result, the first character of

1. You're breaking nearly every existing document.

2. \language is only needed when you use more than 1 language in a 
document, otherwise \mainlanguage is enough to change labels and 
hyphentation patterns.

I figured out that there are should-be-working-out-of-the-box images
for FreeBSD for RPi.
Maybe we just need to fetch another one for the farm ;)

I installed

https://download.freebsd.org/ftp/releases/VM-IMAGES/13.0-RELEASE/aarch64/Latest/
inside
https://github.com/utmapp/UTM
but I had some issues figuring out how to install packages. Maybe
something for another weekend.

I also got Debian 10 working inside UTM and it resulted in pretty fast
compilation.
(I still need to set up automatic start-up after the power outage.)
Tests with Windows ARM64 come next. The installation procedure seems
to have started at least,
I guess that the support is much better now than what it used to be
when M1 got released.

Why does the last table have "Table 1", when there is a 
\setupfloat[table][default=nonumber]?


The default value is only used when you provide no arguments to the 
location key which isn't the case for your last table. To get rid of the 
counter add "nonumber" to the location argument, e.g.


\startplacetable[title=...,location={nonumber,force}]

but you can also disable the counter for all table floats with

\setupcaption [table] [number=no].

I think this might be what you intend:

   \setupcaption[table][number=no]

   \starttext
   \startplacetable[title={Table With A Caption},location=force]

   \stoptext

As to your quetsion, I have no idea why this happens.

\setupinitial is your friend.

i-context.pdf (included in LMTX) contains the available options
(searching for "\setupinitial [", without quotation marks).

[NTG-context] date formatting

From Wikipedia:

In English-language  
outside North America (mostly in Anglophone Europe and some countries in 
Australasia), full dates are written as 7 December 1941 (or 7th December 1941) 
and spoken as "the seventh of December, nineteen forty-one" (exceedingly common 
usage of "the" and "of"), with the occasional [my emphasis] usage of December 
7, 1941 ("December the seventh, nineteen forty-one"). In common with most 
continental European usage, however, all-numeric dates are invariably ordered 
dd/mm/.

From this I infer that \language[en] or \language[en-gb] should format dates 
normally in day-month-year order, reserving mont-day-year for \language[us] 
i.e. language[en-us].

But in ConTeXt both \language[en] and \language[en-gb] produce the us ordering 
for \currentdate. I would be pleased if ConTeXt could be changed to the above 
mentioned normal behaviour for english. That is [en] and [en-gb] produce the 
day-month-year order and that [us] and [en-us] month-day-year.

There is no template but show below a example for a document which
uses the project structure. The examples are just my own preference
and there are many ways to change them to fit your own style.


1. File names

In the example all sub files (style + chapters) start with the
name of the main file and append a sub name. Another popular
naming scheme is to prefix the files with c_ (component),
p_ (product) or s_ (style/environment).

To avoid problems should also try to use only ASCII characters
for the file names and avoid anything which is special in TeX,
using spaces or extra periods should be avoided as well.


2. Arguments for \component etc.

In my example I passed the argument to \component, \startproduct
etc. in square brackets but this is only a alternative form
to older way, where you passed it without the brackets. Both

\component document-xxx

and

\component [document-xxx]

are valid and you can use whatever you prefer.


3. Position of \environment

In my example I load the environment-file after \startproduct
and \startcomponent but it's also possible to load it before
them. There are reasons for both positions and when you choose
one you should keep it for all files.


4. \startdocument

In my product file I added a document-environment, while it
isn't necessary in this case it provides a nice hook to insert
a title page for your document.
