The whole tikz/pgf code needs some cleaning up. There are a bunch of errors of the form: system > module wrapping error in 'tikz' because the many of the modules in tikz have a \stopmodule but not a \startmodule. Hi, Hans. I've got a question. Negative steps are treated as positive:

gives

Is this expected behavior? If so, it would be fine to have something more
alike to MetaPost's "for ... step ... until" loop. Thank you in advance.

Ok so I did all the tips, installed from ctan without any success so it is interesting to know how it worked out for some and not for me. Well that is a good question.
