Re: [NTG-context] new upload / more math
Wrong. The imperial measurement system, may give Europeans a headache, but is NOT obsolete, by any means. A good chunk of the world use the imperial measurment system and may be required in certain books, depending on a country's standards. dh - Henning Hraban Ramm via ntg-context wrote: > Oh, great work, thank you! Re: [NTG-context] font problems
Hans, thanks you for the solution to my font problem. I appreciate it. I'm trying to understand the definefont command you used and it seems that the arguments 'sa 1' in the macro is a size indication somewhat similar to 'at 10pt' but uses a relative size parameter as opposed to the absolute pt value. That the numeric argument after 'sa' is a multiple of the current font size. [NTG-context] font problems
Here's my MWE: Objective is to typeset a Chancery font text in the upper lefthand side of a page, and then do the main body in some normal font. Then at the very last print a sign off in Chancery. For some reason I can't get both to print out as Chancery. Only one or the other, but not both. \definefontfamily [mwetest] [sans] [Liberation Sans] \setupbodyfont [mwe,ss,12pt] \definelayer[mwe][repeat=yes, preset=lefttop, hoffset=.125in, voffset=.125in] \setlayer[mwe] { \switchtobodyfont[chancery,8pt] \hskip 5mm Chancery Font Here } \setupbackgrounds[page][background=mwe] \starttext Normal font text goes here. \blank[4*big] { \switchtobodyfont[chancery] This should be Chancery here to. But isn't. } \blank[2*big]Note that if I comment out the \type{setlayer[mwe]} in the source file, then the above will print in Chancery. \stoptext I'd like to have the layers in Chancery font and then one last text string in the body in Chancery font. But I can't get them both to be Chancery. Re: [NTG-context] Strange bug with overviewpage module.
I am using the standalone context ( $ mtxrun --version gives me == ConTeXt TDS Runner Tool 1.31 ) I want to try the overview module. I copied the example given on the references html page, but context needs the module to parse it. How do I install a module? ( This one specifically if different from others in installation.) If this is already implemented and if you have an example presentation, could you please share it? That was the original idea of the module. See: http://randomdeterminism.wordpress.com/2014/01/01/announcing-the-overview-module/ I am thinking of adding the abilityto manually create overview pages as well. [NTG-context] Adjusting topspace for letterhead in layer construct
mtx-context | current version: 2014.10.18 14:30 I only want about 3 to 5 mm between the physical top of the page and the top of the letterhead (in this example, a company's and contact information). In \setlayer I set y=3mm The pdf view of the output looks good, but an actual printout (and a look at a print preview with a pdf viewer) of the generated pdf file puts the top of the letterhead about 17 mm down from the top edge. [NTG-context] layer letterhead and top down distance
I am using: mtx-context | current version: 2014.10.18 14:30 I am typesetting a simple letterhead for correspondence.
