Hi, How would I install that latest version of ConTeXt (the lua version) on *both* of the distributions mentioned. Hi There's no ConTeXt package on MikTeX. The ConTeXt version in the TL will always not be the current version. So No solution if you follow the package update of the two system. Please consider ConTeXt Minimals (a TL based distribution). You can always have a copy of minimals just to be sure that latest features are working, and enable them only when needed. The rest is far less important. You only need to be aware that once you update a package in global tree, the local tree will still have precedence.
