 :)

afaik only a itemize fix and it is the last release before mkiv code is
merged into the default distribution

so, soon there will be a more drastic release with mkiv support; this
will have some consequences for font usag e(and probably some things
will be broken in miiv, but that's what testing is for); concerning fonts:

- reorganized type-* files for pdftex (less type-* files)
- new ones for luatex shared with xetex (dedicated type-* files)
- these are automatically loaded so it probably goes unnoticed
- changed features support for xetex (\definefontfeatures instead of
obscure syntax)

Hi Hans,

You've add
\appendtoks
\disablediscretionaries
\disablecompoundcharacters
\to\everyMPgraphic
to meta-ini.tex

but the problem is persistent. Moreover, The following example raises
another class of problem induced by the use of the semicolon with \in:

\useencoding[ffr]
\mainlanguage[fr]

\starttext

text:\blank
text;\blank
text?\blank
text!\blank

A sample table is given: \in{tableau}[tab:mytab].

\placetable[here][tab:mytab]{Test}{
\bTABLE
\bTR
\bTD test \eTD
\bTD test \eTD
\eTR
\eTABLE
}

\startuseMPgraphic{test}
numeric u;
u:=1cm;

draw origin--(10u,10u);
\stopuseMPgraphic

\useMPgraphic{test}

\stoptext

For those of you who are interested, Hans has released a new ConTeXt last

http://contextgarden.net/Context_2004.12.06
Highlights:
* texfont.pl is now version 2.2.1. From now on, it uses internal filename
  globbing (using a new switch: --pattern=wildcard) instead of the shell
  wildcard expansion.
  Obviously, this means that the commandline has changed.
this extension is downward compatible; i added the --pattern option because on
unix wildcards in type-*.dat runs can give funny side effects because they may
get expanded at the shell level (depending on place and time)
