     12/14: A ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was seen in the Muckland along Rt. 31 west of 
the Seneca River.

     21/21: 7 SANDHILL CRANES were seen at the Visitor’s Center.







Onondaga County






     The RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD reported from Doyle Road east of Baldwinsville is 
still coming to feeders put out by various homeowners.

     12/17: A CACKLING GOOSE was seen in flight from Comstock Road in Syracuse. 
A COMMON GRACKLE was seen on Young Road in Syracuse.

     12/18: A SURF SCOTER was seen at the marshy spits area on the south end on 
Onondaga Lake.

     12/19: Highlights from the annual Syracuse CBC were: GRAY KINGBIRD, COMMON 
GRACKLE, HERMIT THRUSH, HOARY REDPOLL, FIELD SPARROW, EVENING GROSBEAK and 
COMMON REDPOLL.

     12/20: An ICELAND GULL was seen on Vincent Corners Road east of Fabius.

     12/21: 50 COMMON REDPOLLS were seen on Watervale Road south of Manlius. A 
LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was seen at the Liverpool Marina on Onondaga Lake.







Oswego County






     12/15: A KING EIDER was seen in Oswego Harbor.

     12/16: A BLACK SCOTER and a SNOWY OWL were seen at Oswego Harbor. A HERMIT 
THRUSH was found at a residence in Hastings.

     12/17: A RED-THROATED LOON was found in Oswego Harbor.

     12/18: A HOARY REDPOLL was seen at Port Ontario on Lake Ontario.6 EVENING 
GROSBEAKS were seen on Johnson Road in Williamstown.

     12/19: 2 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen on Stone Hill Road west of 
Williamstown.

     12/20: Highlights on the Oswego CBC were: WOOD DUCK north of Fulton, 
HERMIT THRUSH in two places in Oswego, 8 COMMON REDPOLLS at Lock 2 in Fulton 
and an EASTERN TOWEE (rare in winter) on Co. Rt. 85 north of Fulton.

     12/21: An ICELAND GULL was seen at Lock 2 in Fulton.







Madison County






     1215:  A PINK-FOOTED GOOSE, possibly the same bird seen in Tully in 
Onondaga County over a month ago, was found and photographed on Woodman Pond 
north of Hamilton. It was seen again the next day but has not been reported 
since. A CACKLING GOOSE was seen at the same location on both days also. A 
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW was seen on Ditchbank Road north of Canastota.

     12/17: 2 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen on Borden Road in Erieville.

     12/19: 16 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen on Middleport Road south of Hamilton.







Oneida County






     12/15: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen on Co. Rt. 86 in Durhamville.

     12/19: A RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET was seen in Procter Park in Utica. A GRAY 
CATBIRD was seen on the Hamilton College Campus in Clinton.







Herkimer County






     12/16: 3 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen at a feeder on the Military road 
north of Dolgeville.

I am seeing a Greater White-fronted Goose on the northeast ball fields of
Randall's Island, south of Field 31 with many Canada Geese. This goose was
initially observed by others yesterday and reported publicly today. Here is
a quick photo:

Randall's Island, south of Field 31 with many Canada Geese. This goose was

LeConte’s continues at CPP as of 10:30am. I had it just off the center landfill 
path and just east of the path’s high point.
