Yesterday morning (2/6) a Gyrfalcon was seen and photographed at Blue Chip Farms in Wallkill NY...some details here: http://birding.aba.org/message.php?mesid=859630=NY09=NY%20-%20Orange%20County To the best of my knowledge, bird was not seen again yesterday afternoon or this morning. Today at midday, from the parking lot at Oil City Road for Wallkill NWR in Pine Island, a fly-by White Ibis (juv). May have landed in the far southern portion of the marsh. Will post update if relocated.
