[nysbirds-l] Gyr Falcon Update

2015-02-09 Thread Curt McDermott
As I have had many inquiries to as to parking at the "new location" for the
bird, I thought I should update what I know (think).
Approx. 5 minutes after my last post, that noted a "new location", the bird
flew in a straight line toward the direction of Old Fort Rd. Although we were
back in the area of Hoagerburgh and Old Fort Rd., within minutes, we never
relocated the bird. I would suggest, that this was merely an expansion of the
birds hunting area and perhaps just a place where it goes when we have been
unable to locate it in the past. I would guess that the bird will continue
with its previous habits and would offer the Bruyn Rd. location as an option to
check only when unable to locate on Old Fort Rd. Of course, this is all
conjecture as I can not read the birds mind.
As to the parking questions regarding parking along Bruyn Tpk.there are NO
parking options.
