[nysbirds-l] Gyrfalcon in Seneca Falls area
I had heard some reports that the Gyrfalcon had returned to the area south of Seneca Falls New York. I confirmed those reports shortly before sunset at the Seneca Stone Company Quarry at Canoga and Hoster roads. Be advise that this is a difficult bird to chase, as it hunts over a wide territory during the day, from my prior experience with it. Good luck to any who try :) -- NYSbirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsWELCOME.htm http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsRULES.htm http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/nysbirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/NYSBirds-L 3) http://birding.aba.org/maillist/NY01 Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
