Re: [nysbirds-l] NYS eBird Hotspots: Recent Changes to wikipages

BTW the golf course has put up "no trespassing" signs on all paths leading to
the links. These were not there two weeks ago.

We stayed on pavement near the club house and after ten minutes a waiter came
out to ask us what we were doing. We explained we were looking for a rare
goose and were not going to walk into the links and he did not object to our
scoping the birds from there.

[nysbirds-l] NYS eBird Hotspots: Recent Changes to wikipages

2017-01-22 Thread Ben Cacace
* For the NYS page & all County pages the "Top eBirders >" line has been
updated with links for 2017 and includes prior years through 2013.

* For *Orange County* a page was created for 'Harriman State Park' (9
locations).

* For *Hamilton County* the Top 10 locations have been created and placed
at the top of the list.

On the Alphabetical listing of Counties on the NYS page this county is
highlighted in purple. Purple means these pages have 'static' Top 10
locations. These pages don't need to be updated on a monthly basis except
to add revelant links and images.

Counties highlighted in green have pages for ALL locations and 'dynamic'
pages for the Top 10 locations. Dynamic pages are updated with total spp. #
& color codings for locations based on eBird's color system (gray to red).
The Counties highlighted tan have 'dynamic' pages for the Top 10 locations.

* For the *Oswego County* page I've removed 'Toad Harbor' from the Three
Mile Bay WMA page since it appears to be outside of the Wildlife Management
Area.
