[nysbirds-l] Pink-footed Goose, Bronx County, NY (Tuesday, 12/27)

2016-12-27 Thread Thomas Fiore
TUESDAY, 26 December, 2016 - Van Cortlandt Park, western Bronx (N.Y.
City)

A Pink-footed Goose was again found today on the Parade Grounds field
adjacent to Broadway (which is north of about West 246 Street) - this
species and (many) Canada Geese are often moving about on the field
and have been at the northern end at times, closer to West 250 Street,
as well as other areas of the large field.

Good luck if you try; please give the geese enough space to feed (and
not flush due to any birder activity), thanks!

good birding,

Tom Fiore
Manhattan
