[nysbirds-l] Swainson's Warbler Prospect Park
The Swainson's Warbler was seen about 30 minutes ago in same location as before, foraging in the patch of woods where a large fallen tree lies right next to a woodchip path. It showed briefly up close, but then vanished and I haven't seen it again since. Not a lot of people around, except a shady guy with a bike who did a lit of staring. [nysbirds-l] Swainson's Warbler Prospect Park: Yes!!
It's always a good day when you get to see a Swainson's Warbler. We made eye contact. He sang for me. Still in the same spot as reported earlier. This surely makes up for my "maybe it's a Golden-wingled Warbler" debacle yesterday at Bayard Cutting. 40.662858,-73.966905 Time for lunch! Elizabeth A. DiNapoli B.A., M.Ed.
