[nysbirds-l] Western Tanager - YES

Just got word that the Western Tanager in Green-Wood Cemetery is still present 
as of a few minutes ago. If you go, park near Cypress and Vine Avenues. Look 
for Vernal Path off of Cypress and walk towards the large mausoleum with two 
tall blue spruces at its corners. The name is “Chas. T. Yerkes”. Walk around to 
the back of it and scan the large yew tree at the left side. The bird is 
foraging in the many yews in that area, but always seems to return here. Look 
for fresh sapsucker holes as it is picking insects from them (and perhaps 
drinking the sap).
