Re: [openthinclient-user] [!!Mass Mail]Re: OTC-Pales : No LDAP connection

2016-03-09 Thread Florian Berzl
Hi,

i think the dhcp works well. The DHCP send the boot image to the thinclient.
All other workstations and thinclients work without problems. So I think the
dhcp server is ok.

After the error "(DEBUGSHELL) : No LDAP connection possible, please debug." I
do a ping to my LDAP server with ping 172.16.20.16 and receive "network is
unreachable".
Then I do "/sbin/udhcpc -q -t 5 -n -i eth0" and receive

Udhcpc (v1.23.1) started
Sending discover...
Sending select for 172.16.20.232
Lease of 172.16.20.232 obtained, lease time 86400
/etc/udhcpc/default.script: Adding DNS 172.16.20.1
/etc/udhcpc/default.script: Adding DNS 172.16.20.70
/ #

After this now I perform a ping 172.16.20.16 too, and then, what the hell, I
can ping my LDAP server with IP 172.16.20.16

After restart the thinclient I have the same problem too. Can't ping LDAP
server. Ping is only possible after /sbin/udhcpc

Your interface is up but got no IP. Crazy!

Can you please try command "/sbin/udhcpc -q -t 5 -n -i eth0"?

Are you sure, that your dhcp server is well configured?

Re: [openthinclient-user] Pales - Test in VMWare Workstation - Clients nur schwarzer Bildschirm

2016-03-09 Thread Stecher, Alexander
Hallo Herr Mayer,

Re: [openthinclient-user] Problems with Display on Pales

2016-03-09 Thread Stecher, Alexander
I hope, you assigned the "device" "smartcard" to the thinclient?
