Do you use rdesktop or rdesktop-svn? We use the latter which works with W2k8R2 Servers. T. Häcker the same problem here. We connect to W2k8r2 Servers and tried it with DNS and IP-Adresses in the configuration. After a few minutes connect is posible after the problem occurs. The problem is not reproducable in a reliable manner. We use the openthinclient-server-0.1.3 virtual appliance, where no library problems whatsoever occured and rdesktop-svn works out of the box. T. Häcker We use rdesktop. Couldn't get rdesktop-svn to run. Complains a missing library. So which pakets we do have to upgrade also? [openthinclient-user] Rdesktop problem
Hi, using the virtual appliance everything goes fine but: I can see and click (double-click) the icon on a thin client. The application seems to start: Rdesktop RDP client wird gestartet showing in the taskbar. After about 12 seconds it terminates. Nothing happens. Any ideas? Hello, I guess, there is something wrong with the configuration. Try to start the rdesktop application in the shell: 1) open a shell with strg+alt+shift+x 2) right click on the rdesktop-icon - properties - launcher 3) copy the complete command line (with hash) 4) insert the command line in the shell and look what happens Good luck!
