Subject: Strange Behavior - forms6i

Hi all,
I am experiencing the following problem ,wondering whether it's problem in
my code or it's bug.
There is an item in the block which has LOV associated with it.
whenever I change it's value , string TRUE is displayed instead of the
value that I have entered.
(nowhere in the code I assign TRUE ,also validate from list is set,yet no
error message displayed on save)
When I save and re-query then proper values are displayed.

Hope someone might able to shade some light on this.

Platform:
forms6i (Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.8.0),
windows2000

Thanks
Sameer

Hi Sameer,

Is there a trigger fires on your item where your LOV set ?
Make a sure set automatic display to 'no' on LOV setting.

Rgrds,

Sony

RE: Strange Behavior - forms6i - solved(Strangely )

2003-02-04 Thread Sameer Ghadge
thanks all.

I investigated and found the foll.
There was a post-update trigger where I was setting some global variable.
mysteriously the error is gone when I made a change in post-update, then
reverted back the change and recompiled the code.

now same code works fine atleast for the time being.

Thanks all for the help
Sameer
