I don't think this is possible as you need to confirm the subscription with
a link provided by the list. So it would be really weird if this is the
case.

 wasn't aware others might be getting them too.

 The mailman server isn't hosted on secureserver.net.  Perhaps a
 subscriber to osg-users or the forum is related to this remain in some
 way.

 I would suspect some kind of spam or hack of a server somewhere
 though, even if it isn't directly related to openscenegraph servers.

Well, it must be responding to something, so somehow one of their servers
is receiving our messages.

Can you export the subscriber list and maybe I can try to find any
erroneous recipients? I know there must be a lot of subscribers these days.

At first I dismissed it as a spam email but soon noticed that the timing of the 
emails correlates exactly with postings that I made on this forum.

I don't suppose that the forum moderators intended this.
