SharePoint 2007 Menu Structure - Top Navigation
Hi everyone Just a quick question hopefully. Do you know if the menu structure (top navigation) in SharePoint 2007 is held in a different database to the standard WSS_content database? I've just has a technician do a restore of the content database into our dev environment and while the content itself is correct the top navigation has not changed to the new structure. Thanks Roger Mike No server side styling. I'll look into the cache as well and probably do a restore to my test system as I think they must have not followed the documentation correctly. Slider in SP 2007
I'm a rather limited coder (or limited to what I can get and understand from the web and from this forum.) I have noticed that several sites (including on NBSP) are using sliders, linked to content in SharePoint and was wondering is anyone knows where I can go to get a tutorial on how to set on up for our news articles automatically. I'm currently using several Content Query web parts on our news page with item styles to display the latest news in various categories. After seeing the sliders on several sites I wanted see if I can learn more on how to use this as an alternative. Ideally I'd like to set it up to display a query result with styles for the last 4 news articles that have been published or to identify metadata that identifies the article to be in the slider. The key for me is to have it automated as the team who generate the news don't want to edit code to provide links or images. Any help on where to go to learn more or advice on how to achieve this would be appreciated.
