The following patch fixes the render view update issue on Macs with
nVidia cards. Does anyone have any objections to this patch?

I just updated to 10.5.5. It seems to fix the issue. It must have been
a bug related to nVidia drivers.

Recently I have been noticing an update issue with the 3D views. For
example, create a sphere source and hit apply. Nothing is shown in the 3D
view until you click in it.
Has anyone else been seeing this?
