Re: connecting my portable stereo to my computer usingtheauxiliaryjacks?
The problem you wil run into running a line from your headphone jack is overdriving your sound card causing distortion. the other problem that usually arises is that you can sometimes get hum from the headphone jack. ** On the other hand, you have different fingers robert Doc Wright http://www.wrightplaceinc.net msn [EMAIL PROTECTED] - Original Message - From: Randy Tijerina [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Monday, January 07, 2008 10:29 PM Subject: Re: connecting my portable stereo to my computer usingtheauxiliaryjacks? can i do that for recording somehting off of one of my records? or can i connect a cable to the headphone jack of the crosley. I'm in a teaching environment, and the reason I ask is because I don't want my student to hear the notes I take, which even with the patch cords, is the case. Re: skype payment.
Hi, As I understand it, Skype is sselling something called Skype Pro for $36 a year. This covers the cost of Skype out for the year and there is no additional charge for making long distance calls in the U.S. and Canada. Skype Pro also includes the Skype Answering machine and some other features. It adds an additional $12 of calling credit to your account. This can be used for international calls. If you bought Skype Pro, you should not have to pay anything else unless you make international calls and exceed your free $12 credit. Re: connecting my portable stereo to my computer usingtheauxiliaryjacks?
Hello Kulvinder, That's what I told Randy earlier this morning. If those jacks are line out, then you can hook it up to your computer's sound card without any problem. But if they happen to be line in, then the only option is using the headphone jack. But however, that won't work to well for you. You will get amplifier noise. It will distort especially if the volume is turned up way to high. Re: moving and splitting
Martin, copy the file to the My music folder, th en, the next time you open up goldwave, type control-o and type the name of the file which you copied to my music. It may take a few tries for goldwave to find that file, but after it does and you have successfully imported that file to goldwave, type alt-e and O for editing q-points. After hitting enter on editing q points, look at all the q points and their ttimes, to make sure you didn't miss any. Then tab till you find the splitting files option. Make sure, as was already said, that you have placed a q point at the absolute beginning of the file. Let me know if you understand this. Re: CD Info
I've had CD info with some of my CD's when I went to CDex, but for some reason, I don't get this with other CD's either! - Original Message - From: GianniP46 [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PCAudioList pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Tuesday, January 08, 2008 6:12 PM Subject: CD Info Hey guys, I got a cd that I am trying to rippe in cdex, but the cd info is not recognized. The weird thing is that the info does come up in Winamp when I play the cd in winamp. Is there anyway for cdex to get the cd info? Gian Carlo Pedulla [EMAIL PROTECTED] LETS! GO! METS!
