phones Pcs
Hi, If I have a laptop as I am at home most of the time, do I need a phone that has email and web capabilities or just texting? Does anyone know if the LG NV3 is totally accessible? Sincerely, Lauren To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
Winamp Scripts Version 2.11 are now Available
Version 2.11 of the Window-Eyes scripts for Winamp are now available from www.gwmicro.com/sc. Below are the changes for versions 2.1 and 2.11. -Steve. Enhancements and Bug Fixes in September 18th Release (Version 2.1): 1. Removed the Remove Old Set Files checkbox out of the preferences dialog. 2. The GW Toolkit version 8.0.2 is now required. 3. Added Page Up and Page Down keys to the Main Winamp window to adjust the Winamp volume up or down a given percentage. This percentage is configurable. 4. Removed the internal Winamp Script Hotkey Manager and implemented the GW Toolkit Hot Key Manager. For version 2.1 you will need to adjust any keyboard Hot Key changes you might have made in the scripts. Only Hotkey type keys can be adjusted. The INI file went under a major change to accomidate the new HotKey Manager. 5. Added the Hotkey Manager to the Winamp Scripts Menu seen in the Window-Eyes Control Panel. 6. Help has been removed from the XML file and is now auto-generated using the GW Toolkit. 7. Added logic to insure that the Default Settings file conforms to Key Object Propper Name syntax even though the other syntax conforms. This resolves an issue with the new Hotkey Manager. Bug Fixes in September 20th Release (Version 2.11): 1. Corrected a WinampGlobal Alarm issue. 2. Removed un-needed code out of the OnShutDown event to prevent shared object errors seen by some users. Road video microphone
Hi all Does anyone know anything about this specific microphone? I believe there is both a mono and stereo version of it available. I am looking for a reasonable quality microphone to use with my plextalk ptr1 to do recordings including outside recordings. Re: Road video microphone
Andre, this is a shotgun microphone, meaning it is very directional. It records best what is in front of it and rejects sounds from the sides and back of the microphone. What type of things will you be recording? You might not want a microphone so directional On Mon, 21 Sep 2009 17:50:19 +0200, =?iso-8859-1?Q?Andr=E9_van_Deventer?= wrote: Hi all Does anyone know anything about this specific microphone? RE: Road video microphone
Rode microphones have an excellent reputation particularly because they give very high quality for their price. However, with the Plextalk PTR1 and 2 you do need to watch out for mics which are very sensitive - as they tend to overload the mic preamps of the PTR 1 and 2. This even happens if you lower the mic input volume. Rode mics (spelt R O D E) could well be very sensitive. One thing is fort certain, ikf the internal mic is as bad on the PTR1 as it is in the PTR2, you need an external mic urgently. Sony mics may be a good starting point, they aren't necessarily top-shelf quality, but they do seem to pair quite nicely with the PTRs. RE: Road video microphone
Hi Tim Some interviews, and also some sound clips from the environment. I know you need special microphones for both but my budget will only allow me to get something which can do a reasonable job with everything.
