OK folks For those of you who know more than me about this. Re: Users of iTunes for Windows
When you say, Air play, are you asking about the radio? Try either down arrowing past Podcasts and Ringtones to get to Radio and there press Enter. Now, arrow down the list of station catagories and when you hear one that you would like to check out, press the Right Arrow , to open it and then down arrow to see what is there. When you find a station you want, just press Enter, to start it playing. You can always pause it, if you don't like it and continue going down the list to try others. Hope that helps! No, I'm not asking about the Radio, I'm asking about Airplay, the facility which allows iTunes to stream to remote speakers such as a JBL Onbeat Air/Stream, Apple Airport Express, Apple TV, Airfoil Speakers running on another computer or device etc. On 12/03/2012, at 5:55 PM, vrvaug...@mailzone.com wrote: When you say, Air play, are you asking about the radio? I'm not sure what other advantages Audigen provides, but iTunes, Winamp, WMP and FooBar 2000 all build their own media libraries or databases. Re: is it possible to add stations yourself to tapin radio?
The URL you have only works with the BBC iPlayer. If you go to http://members.optusnet.com.au/stephenjolley/livestreams you will find a Windows Media Player link to it. Right click on the link and choose save target as. This will allow you to save the playlist file. Try using this in Tapin Radio. Alternatively, press enter on the link to launch Windows Media Player. You might get a warning message when Windows Media Player starts, but if you select yes, it should start playing. From the Media Player menu, select properties and tab to location where you will find the actual URL. It should be highlighted when you tab to it, so press ctrl+c and you should have it on the clipboard. Try pasting this into Tapin Radio. Need help resolving this Windows Media Player 12 problem on my new win7 laptop
Hello gang. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this WMp12 problem on my Win7 laptop? I recently bought a new Win7 laptop with Windows Media Player 12 preinstalled. I'm able to play mp3 files on the laptop SSD just fine using WMP12. About 10% of the time though, when doing this, Stops playing in the first second or so with an error. My main problem is when trying to stream audio files using WMP12 from a radio show website where they upload the show archives. These online audio archives work fine on another win7 desktop at home so the website archives are fine. However every single time I attempt to play that archived audio using WMP12 on my laptop I immediately get an error msg within WMP and it's as follows: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: wmplayer.exe Application Version: 12.0.7601.17514 Application Timestamp:4ce7a485 Fault Module Name:KERNELBASE.dll Fault Module Version: 6.1.7601.17651 Fault Module Timestamp: 4e211319 Exception Code: c06d007f Exception Offset: b9bc OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID:1033 Additional Information 1: 0a9e Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Additional Information 3: 0a9e Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=104288clcid=0x0409 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt Prateek To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
reaper old version?
Hi list, By chance, does anybody have version 3.7 or there abouts of reaper? It certainly is not available from the web site as far as I can establish. My understanding is that this works considerably better with the REA screen reader plug in which rumour has it, is not being further developed to work with version 4.x. Rather the developer appears to have disappeared if that makes sense. Maybe another enthusiast will pick it up, got to be some dollars in it. Thanks for reading. Need help fixing this WMP12 problem on my new Win7 laptop
Re: reaper old version?
Hi! I've ben using Reaper for over a year and went from version 3.7 to the now available 4.16x and have noticed no accessibility issues, works well with my Screen Reader. Having said that I don't use each and every tool or function Reaper has to offer but I do know that these upgrades and updates are more bug fixes, performance enhancements and feature additions so its unlikely! that any deliberate attempt would be made to make future versions less accessible than older one's. If there is of course a known problem with accessibility then it should be brought to the attentions of the developers who have been absolutely superb in making Reaper accessible as compared to what it once was very early on. RE: an importent sound card question.
What card is this? I should think the PC would just see it so have some speakers connected to it. The only thing the software may or may not do is have controls for it, and some cool effects like making yourself sound like your in a public bathroom with the echoes and the like, but most of the time the software is sadly inaccessible. Like it is in the case of the X FI Titanium sound blaster card. What a shame on Creative Labs. Someone should discipline them. -Original Message- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of aadorno1 Sent: Monday, March 12, 2012 8:26 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: an importent sound card question. RE: an importent sound card question.
As long as you have the drivers for your second sound card installed and either disable the first one or assign JAWS to the second one it should work. Okay then. Well, if it comes with the Creative Launcher I think it is called, according to Rick Harmon, this sadly not accessible. -Original Message- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of aadorno1 Sent: Monday, March 12, 2012 10:17 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: an importent sound card question. it's a sound blaster card but I do not remember the make and model at this moment. - Original Message - From: Hamit Campos hamitcam...@gmail.com To: 'PC Audio Discussion List' pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Monday, March 12, 2012 10:09 PM Subject: RE: an importent sound card question.
