 Its

ARe you talking about simply changing the extension rather than
the format of the file?

If that's all you need to do, DOS is your friend here!

Open a command window, navigate to the folder your files are in,
and type

REN *.M4A *.M4R

Hit RETURN and it's done.

If this is the sort of thing you're likely to do often, there is
an XP Powertoy which adds the command prompt to the right-click
menu. Windows Vista, 7 and 8 have this built in, just
shift-right-click on (or in) the folder.

I must not have been clear in my first post. When I ran total recorder on
my xp machine iTR had a feature that allowed me to block jaws from being
recorded. I can't find that feature after installing to win7.

I may upgrade if the latest version works with XP Home, obviously I will
soon change to later Windows - probably Windows8 - any access problems

I have been loathed to upgrade to Windows7, due to all the comments read
advising TR and driver problems on this o/s. Am I wrong now?

Hope this is of some help.

Hmmm! I don't think I ever remember being able to block Jaws from recording

eMail the studio and see if they can help you.

I think they're having difficulties with the iTunes/Winamp/VLC stream but the
standard ePlayer should work just fine across all platforms.

Re: Sparkle Radio

2014-04-30 Thread Peter Scanlon

I got the HTML5 player to work now.
Wish they could have made it simple by putting that link on the front page.
Had to go to the Listen page then to another page.

Lots of tech stuff, I just wanted to listen.
They do have a link for Winam but it is not on the page as a link, have to
paste it to Winamp.

Replacement For My Zoom H1 Recorder

2014-04-30 Thread Dane Trethowan
Hi!

My Zoom H1 should be here any day now, my original recorder developed a fault
and it probably wasn't worth the money to get repaired so I ordered a
replacement.

I also read a review of the Zoom H2N which has been around for a little while
now, it looks impressive to say the least and I've linked it below.

Does anyone on list have experience with one of these recorders?
