How to contact BlindTunes support?

2015-08-09 Thread Saylien Brown

Hello,

I'm now having all sorts of problems with BlindTunes.

First the newest build of iTunes seemed to have broken something. I
get a weird scripting conflict when trying to use BlindTunes in
conjuction with iTunes. Had to uninstall BlindTunes completely to use iTunes.

Next I tried updating my PC to Windows v8.1 (In preparation for
Windows 10) and now their license server won't accept my registration
key at all.

I need to contact someone who can assist me in resetting my license
key so I can attempt to use BlindTunes under Windows v8.1 - 10 and
latest build of iTunes v12.

I'm using the latest build of JAWS v 16 (64 Bit) by the way. Thanks.

You'll find more details on the Bose Soundtouch products and what they
support, the article is a little old but most information is relevant
today and other services have since been added.

When I first got the Bose Soundtouch the IOS App was very difficult to use but
not impossible.

I've not had IOS for 2 months so I've no idea if the App has become any more

For accessibility as I remember things the IOS and Android Apps would be about

The Windows App was accessible though you had to know exactly what you were
doing in order to use it and the Mac App wasn't accessible at all last time I
tried it, time to try all that stuff again as I'm wondering whether I should
buy the Bose Wave Soundtouch or something else.

I've had a Bose Soundtouch Portable for 9 months.

Initially the only way of controlling the Soundtouch was via the IOS Smartphone
App but Android Lollypop has changed all that, the Soundtouch Android App works
quite well and I'm able to get to most of the functions I need, I can search
for stations, browse the station list, look at what I've recently listened to,
select which preset I wish to hear, browse my media library on my UPNP media
server, select what I want to listen to on pandora and so on.

I'm not saying that accessibility can't be improved upon because it certainly
can but enough information in the App is provided to give you a hand and an
idea of where you are and what you're doing, given that then there's no reason
why you shouldn't be able to make near to full use of the Soundtouch system as
intended.

The Bose Soundtouch system comes in 4 models to my knowledge, the small
portable which has a surprising level of sound which will easily fill a
medium-sized room or apartment and is fully portable and can run from its
internal battery and moved from room to room, the mid-sized tabletop model, a
bigger tabletop and the Wave Soudtouch which incorporates multi

Hello Ray:

If I understand you correctly, you want to paste voice over a background,
probably of music, and you want the volume of the underlying music to be
lowered while the voice sounds over it, is that correct?

If so, please remember that both sounds have to be at the same bitrate and
sample rate. Then open a file with the background music and another with
the voice; copy the voice to memory, move the starting marker on the music
to the point where you want the voice to start, then press Alt-C to go to
the Effects menu and open Voice Over. There you can try it if you like
the way it is set up by default, if not, you can lower or raise the volume
of the underlying music.
