Re: Rhapsody
I certainly hope there's a part for a shepherd dog in that book. As for the retriever capabilities, they probably got picked up from Joanie on some of those nice trips we took together. Re: book port
I think the BookPort is one of the best devices to come along in a long time, depending, of course, on what you want to use it for. Re: another premier cd observation
As a result of reading some of the posts on this list, I downloaded and installed the trial version of this program and began working with it to see, first, how it would handle identifying and saving discs. On the first two I tried, the database totally misidentified the disks with the wrong names, artists, genres, and track information. Also I couldn't get some of the hotkeys to work, such as close, eject, and a few more. This being a bad start I'm holding off actually writing any CDs, but if anyone has any thoughts, I'd appreciate having them before I go any further. Andy, your message regarding the Olympus manual didn't come through, or at least not to my system. Re: Larry Skutchan's recorder?
I don't have a specific e-mail address for Larry, but if you log onto the APYH website and find blindcooltech, I think he gives it there. Re: C-Crane FM Tramsmitters
An engineer at ccrane told me how to find instructions by going through google, but I still can't find a place to lift the corner of the label or remove the back by removing two screws. Re: C-Crane FM Tramsmitters
I may be wrong about this, but it seems to me that the design of the Crane unit has somehow been changed, as the descriptions posted in the past of accessing the screw just won't work on mine, or at least I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. Re: C-Crane FM Tramsmitters
I have to correct something I wrote a little while ago, as I had my son look at the Crane unit and he was able to figure out how to get at the screw, and now the unit is working nicely. Re: C Crane transmitter update
My son did it by removing the back, as one of the Crane engineers suggested, but he did say both approaches would work. FM transmitter again
In the past discussions of the CCrane transmitter, people have described a small screw on the back of the unit which can be adjusted to increase its rane. I have recently acquired one of these transmitters only to find very limited range and nothing on the back that fits this description. There's no tape covering a small screw, only flat metal with writing on it and, of course, the battery compartment. So I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the company has modified the product and if so whether there is another way to increase the range. Any thoughts or information will be much appreciated, as I haven't gotten more than a range of 20 feet maximum.
