sp dif
Hi all. I am using a soundblaster live sound card with the 64 bit version of windows seven. I am having a problem in that each time i boot up my machine with a set of headphones attached, i am loosing all my sounds. on investigation I found that the sound source was changing from my speakers to a setting called spdif, which needd to be corrected in the control pannel. When i booted up the machine with no headphones attached, my speakers were remaining as the sound source and all was grand. Is there is a setting in my sound card properties that would cause the sound source to change each time the machine boots with headphones attached? I attached a usb sound card, and now can't get the sound to play through my speakers, even though i have them set correctly in the control pannel. Where do I go next, all help wellcome Brian To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org

The one I have been looking at is the Creative x-fi surroundsound 5.1. http://en.store.creative.com/products/product.aspx?catid=1pid=17751 Is anyone using this card at the moment? or can anyone suggest anything better which may be better suited to what i'm looking for? Many thanks, Brian. To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org

One should probably go each time from the links on the Radio Wimbledon page.
