This List Is Being Moved
Ladies and gentlemen, This e-mail list, pc audio, will be moving to groups i o on December 1, 2017. You will shortly be receiving an invitation to join. The list name will be all-audio. I hope you will all join. The DMARC and other e-mail list limitations have caused many problems managing the list. I receive fifteen or twenty bounced s p a m messages a day I go through all of them incase a message was meant to go to the list and was bounced instead. The list and this e-mail address, tom at pc-audio dot org will be deleted on December 1, 2017. After that date you can send e-mail to me at: miscpost at pa321 dot net. Hope to see everybody on all-audio at groups dot i o. Sincerely, Tom Dimeo
List Will Continue
OK folks, I got the message. The pc audio list will continue, probably on groups.i o. Not because I'm too cheap to pay for website space, but because DMARC and other e-mail list constraints have made lists difficult to manage. More information to follow. Thank you all, Tom Dimeo
List Termination
Ladies and gentlemen, I am seriously considering terminating the pc audio list. There is very little traffic on the list but a lot of spam. Also, with the advent of DMARC I have no idea who is or is not receiving list messages. I could take the list to Google Groups or some other commercial e-mailing list if there is enough interest, or, maybe some one else would be interested taking on administration duties of the list. There is a cost for the domain name and web space. Jonathan Mosen started the list almost twenty years ago and it might have out lived it's usefulness. Comments are welcome. Best to contact me directly. t...@pc-audio.org Thank you, Tom Dimeo
