RE: Accessibility of Adobe Audition
If you're gana perchis adobe audition, I think your best bet will be with sonar if you want multitrack. And oh yeh. Reaper is good too. I also think there's a way to use soney plugins with sonar. I use sonar 8.5 everyday at work. Maby I can check and see. It is accessabel with caketalking, or j scripts. Which ever one you want. I use cake talking for sonar. I wasn't confortable with that as many objects were placed without any shortcut keys on the screen beyond the menu so OK it was possible to grab them using the virtual mouse and crowling around but it was a real pain. It has the standard menu from what I remember and maybe they improved some particular things of that I can't tell but generally the older version were incredible having most of things in menu reachable via the keyboard unlike the latest versions. But maybe somebody knowing more of that will chime in. I say the most blind-friendly one is Sound Forge:). For the record I don't think it'll be better with Window Eyes as the universal way of the layout and localizing the object is identical to all screen readers regardless of whether it's NVDA Jaws or Window Eyes etc. Tapin-radio coordinator URL: http://www.tapinradio.com/ Facebook: http://facebook.com/tapinradio Twitter: http://twitter.com/tapin_radio Skype: tapinradio - Puvodní zpráva - Od: Samuel Wilkins Komu: PC Audio Discussion List Odesláno: 2. prosince 2012 16:21 Predmet: Accessibility of Adobe Audition Hello everyone, I am considering migrating to Adobe Audition. Hi bill, in cake talking, I notice sometimes when sonar starts up, it sometimes goes to the buss pain. Or sometimes it says module options. Do you have any idea what can cause it? And I was also reading that there is a way to import other sets for other plugins. How can this be done? Thanks for your time. From the desk of Rishi D Mack: Assistive Tech trainor W.R. Demuxing means splitting up the different streams from a file. This way, you keep the streams in their original quality and it is very fast (less than a minute for 90 minutes of video). So please, next time you want to save audio from a YouTube video, do not convert it to mp3 or use a website to give you a link. Download the video in the highest quality possible with tools such as Video DownloadHelper, then extract the audio. A very good tool to extract the audio is Pazera Free Audio Extractor http://www.pazera-software.com/products/audio-extractor/ it supports almost every format possible, and it can go through a batch of files with no problem. To demux, choose the Try extract original audio stream option from the drop-down list of Output Format. If the audio stream is too big (.wav file for example) or in a format that is not supported by your mp3 player (.ac3...), you can ask Pazera Free Audio Extractor to convert it directly for you. Pazera free audio extractor.png http://www.pazera-software.com/products/audio-extractor/ Now you know how to properly handle that task, whether you want to save a track from a concert DVD or get sounds from a video for a remix. The one drawback, for some, of this headset is that you can't use it while it charges. It is advertised as a gaming headset so those who game for 8 hours straight were annoyed that you can't use it while charging. For me, that's not an issue I need to worry about. However, even if you don't get this specific model, I recommend plantronics over any brand personally. hth Dave c. bahr On 6/30/2011 7:18 AM, Paul Porter wrote: I am looking for a good quality wireless headset to both listen to the pc in one ear and phone calls in the other. RE: Reaper and volumes with Rea Access
Where can I get reper and ray access? -Original Message- From: Mario [mailto:m...@tiscali.it] Sent: Tuesday, November 23, 2010 11:46 AM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Reaper and volumes with Rea Access Hi, I'am a blind user, and I'am learninng how to use reaper. I produce radio and video spots, and in these 5 years of work I've ever used Sound forge, that isn't a multitrack editor, so has some limitations for my work. On this list I've discovered that Reaper can become very accessible by using Rea Access, a tird parti plug-in that talks to my screen reader and allows movements between tracks, faders, triggers ecc. I've learned how to select, cut, paste, but I can't understand volumes. Often, for my work I have 2 or 3 tracks, one for the background music and the others for voices or effects. So I need to put down the volume of the background music and re incrementing the same volume when the voice track is finished. How I can do this with Reaper via keyboard commands? I've assigned a shortcut for inserting envelope points, but then I can't understand what I have to do. I don't want to use automation if possible because I don't have a midi controller, and automating volumes via keyboard can't be easy, especially if I want to create a gradual shape. Anyone can suggest a solution? Thanks!
