Or, you may have a drive with a sleeve, so you have to push on a sort of button so the drive will slice in the sleeve, exposing the connector. earlier, DJ DOCTOR P, wrote: Hello Tom, If you feel the right side of your player, you will find a headphone jack. There's a USB port on the right hand side of the machine, it's about half way to the back, right behind the headphone jack. When the machine is shipped, it'll be covered with a small plastic cap. The cap just pops off, and the flash drive should plug into that port with no problem. A flash drive can only go in one way, so if you're having trouble with it, you may want to flip it over. This will have a full sized male connector at one end and a full size female connector at the other end. Note that due to the housing on the NLS cartridge, many USB extension cables aren't going to work, and you may find it best to buy a cable from ILA, APH or Perkins especially designed to work with the NLS cartridges. I know this has all been discussed on this list before, but I just saw this message today and figured I better clarify. Also, as mentioned on this list, the BARD Talk web site is a treasure trove of good information. It's also well organized and well thought out. I think it will clarify a lot and won't appear as contradictory as separate posts to a mailing list may seem to be.
