Houdy,

I'm a big soulseek fan myself for the fact that I've been able to find loads
of great stuff from back in the day that's out of print. Everything from
classic RB, funk, old school hip hop, to classic fusion and jazz from the
70's through mid 80's.

It's really good for download albums, and for finding a lot of underground

I recommend bear share, which can be found at jfwlite.com. It may be out of
date, but it works. Do_ not_ (this is underlined) upgrade. I don't know
 why,
but bear share was completely remodeled in the update, and its completely
unuseable with jaws. Stick with, uh, bear share lite 5.2, I think, and
you'll be fine. If you don't have a version of jaws below 7.1, I recommend
you get it. FOr some odd reason, versions higher than that don't like the
list views in bear share, and your forced to use the jaws cursor. THis is
odd, because those list views are just like any other. Nevertheless, jaws
works well with this program, and I enjoy using it.

2004-09-12 Thread Jessica
I personally wouldn't go that route, especially if you had to pay for the
thing first, not knowing if it's going to be accessible or not. I could
have just payed for a 2-year subscription for something I can't even use,
and then be stuck with a bill that I have to pay later.

Re: unlimited music downloads?

2004-09-11 Thread Kenbu
Be careful! I also joined a music/movie free download site and paid my I
think it was 40 bucks only to find that after I had done so, there was some
rather subtle warnings in their info icon that warned subtlety I said, that
they weren't responsible for this and that 'til it ended up that I read
between the lines realizing that they were covering their butts, re
copyright. I spent that money and will not, obviously, do the same thing re
committing myself again. Of cores, you'll have to be the judge of that
right? Cheers; Ken B
