Sorry John, replied in a hurry and didn't observe what had been written below.

At 09:18 AM 8/26/2013, you wrote:

John,

I think the program you are referring too is
CDEX, and it is not a burning program, but a
ripper. This meaning that it doesn't burn cds,
but rips tracks from a cd, then converts them to
.mp3, .ogg, .flac or any desired compression
format. I've been using CDEX for over a decade,
and it does what it does and does it quite well.
However, it doesn't burn cds. I use Nero to that purpose.

Hi,
the best one is BurnAware.
There is a free version, and a very nice one called premium that also has
copying capabilities.

 Hi all,
Sometime ago, folks were talking about a simple but good and free cd
burning program we can download to our computers. Can someone please
give me some good suggestions to use in my recording studio? I don't
care to use anything too complex.
Thank you,
John

Hi Arthur. I've tried doing what you said regarding ripping a DVD but still
get the error message. I think it might be required to get some kind of
plug in to defeat any kind of incription on the disc. Looking at Magic DVD
ripper's web page they have the necessary things embedded in their programme
to defeat incription and it can be optionally updated. If you have any
suggestions or advice it would be welcome. If I could avoid forking out a
lot of money to purchase Magic DVD ripper my bank balance would be the
happier. Walter.

Hello Christopher.
When you install naturally speaking, how do you train it without speech
feedback? Don't you need something like jawbone or j say to bridge that
gap?

Re: gold wave oops

2004-10-18 Thread Andy
Hi Doc.
Same thing happened to me with my xp home, although the plug in was Direct
X. I got around this by accident really when my windows updates became to
come in. However, I was advised, prior to this that Goldwave didn't really
require that particular plug in. Hope this is of some help.

Best wishes.

directx plug-ins. Does anyone have a clue what is happening?

Sounds like you need to install directx on your
