So How can you tell when the track has ended since there doesn't seem to be
a way to play tracks?

You can manually split the file into tracks, going track by track. Press
B at the beginning of the track and then press N at the end of the track.
Press CTRL+E to save this selected track to a new file. You do this for
each track and you will have a separate MP3 file for each track.

Yes. Use B to set beginning, and n to set end of sollection. Use CTRL+E to
save the current sellection. To refine your selection, press 1 and 2 to move
the beginning mark back and forth, and 3 and 4 to move the end sellection.
For other commands, use the manual.

RE: Splitting a File into Tracks with MP3 Direct Cut

2009-09-14 Thread dean martineau
You can also use the Pause Detection feature on the Special menu to detect
pauses and set cue points which can be used to automatically split the file.
I haven't done much of this but that's the theory and it probably works
pretty well if you get your pause length right.
