I would change my ISP. Junk mail's a pain in the 'arris but I don't think
it's the ISP's job to decide what is and isn't junk.

That's what I get for not reading the text and just clicking on the

the B/W. Some other options you might try to make it look old would be
a little desaturation of the color version or adding a little

great on the wall.

I guess we have no right to complain, given the horrible, deadly

LOL, and I thought I was becoming an old fart. Go Bob!

I do partly share that opinion, particularly about Facebook. I've
recently gotten another round of abuse at school for refusing to have a
Facebook account.

Don't do twitter either, but that's mainly because I don't send or
receive text messages from my phone.

At the same time, I feel like this is getting a bit over-blown.

No one can make you sign up for Flickr if you don't want to, just as no
one can make me sign up for Facebook. Except that, no one is trying to
make you sign up for Flickr.

The PDML group is offered as a resource to list members if they find it
useful. If you are a list member and want to join you can.

I haven't really found that use yet, but I know it's there when I do.

If you want to use it, use it.
If you don't want to use it, don't use it.

Simple solution.

Land survey. Light of my life, fire of my loins

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a

The past is a foreign country. They survey differently there

It was the afternoon of my eighty-first survey and I was in bed with my

 Only just seen this.

I gotta tell you, Dave, this is not the best opening I've ever read:

I am currently trying to write a book about my 35 years in the Land Survey
 industry

Sorry, I panicked.

Dave

Could you not try one of these:

It was a dark and stormy night

Last night I dreamt I went to land survey again

It was a land survey in April and the clocks were striking thirteen

Land survey. Light of my life, fire of my loins

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a
land survey, must be in want of a wife

The past is a foreign country. They survey differently there

It was the afternoon of my eighty-first survey and I was in bed with my
catamite when Ali announced that the archbishop had come to see me

 ?

Actually, you know what? Re-reading it after reading all these, it's not so
bad. Not so bad at all.

haven't found a way to download the spam folder. A quick, occasional

I would change my ISP. Junk mail's a pain in the 'arris but I don't think
it's the ISP's job to decide what is and isn't junk.

I've been using clara.net for over 12 years now and they've been superb.

I'll rephrase what I said: it _sometimes_ filters the pork chops. Not
enough to cause the bother of changing ISP - and email address and

Ok, I think you guys have a bias against my little water volcano left of

I agree with Chris, both about your Posterous version and about the other
shot (#3227).

Of the water shots in that gallery, I very much prefer this one:

I would like the gull to be a bit larger, but that is a minor quibble; I
think the composition is right on.

I was actually thinking of getting rid of the bird--like you said, too

I agree with Chris and Stan. In addition, with the shot that Chris

your approach allow you to share those unseen auto-generated passwords across

  Try pdmlpug.org

No - that won't work. pdmlpug.org is Scott's site - it doesn't host the
PUG.

pug.komkon.org does seem to be down. Maybe only temporary but if it
persists I'll check with Igor.

  G'day,

Apologies if I missed any earlier info on this, but the Pentax Users
Gallery seems to be unavailable. Trying to access pug.komkon.org (my
bookmark for this) times out.  Is my bookmark correct or is there an
  issue with the site?

I dunno. Some bloke communicating; coffee shops; stuff lying on the

 What's come over me?

I don't want to guess what's come over you, and I'm not knocking the
cock, but Greenwich Peninsula, London, UK. 2011 is the stand-out for
me in this great set of images.

Definitely Flickr worthy! (not that I have any images there myself yet)
