Re: PESO: Boston Marathon
I was in Durham 4 times at the time of the Great North Run (91, 93, 97 & 99) but they wouldn't give hoi polloi late entries although they did make allowances for elite runners. It was a pity because I was running well in those years - had to be content with the TV transmission. (We were there for Phillips Analytical Conferences & stayed in the Castle). Re: Katmai for Wildlife
There were plenty of beaver and moose at Katmai when I visited, although I did not see wolves. The reason I preferred Katmai is that we got a lot closer to the wildlife than at Denali. We saw lots of bears at Denali, but always at a distance. At Katmai, we could get as close to the fishing grizzlies as we dared. Re: PESO - Utrecht bicycles
Henk, Thanks for your comments. This shot was tough to process because i couldn’t get squarely in front of the scene, or at an ideally low viewpoint. So I played with it using the crop & straighten tool and Transform sliders in LR6. I couldn’t find a way to keep the horizontals horizontal and the verticals vertical at the same time.
