I’ve always looked forward to this gallery of yours.

From what I read, plowing is going out of fashion generally, for good reasons: 
more erosion, more weeds and pests.

Very nice photo; but I wish there weren’t so many deer around. They make 
driving (especially at night) much less relaxing, and love to eat the most 
expensive and labor-intensive plants available.

They will most likely live on. We have local demos and fairs and what not .
There are other areas that have plowing demos and matches so i hope they
will carry one for a while

Thanks for sharing this, Dave. Love the images, especially of horses at work. A 
shame it was the last year. 

I experienced the very end of my grandfather’s horse farming. I remember the 
sound of the horses munching their grain in their stalls in the barn after a 
day’s work. 

I wish it could have continued. Maybe it will return.
