We're going to be Spartacuses in Londinium on the weekend of 21/22nd as I had a
room booked for business. I will be otherwise engaged on 21st but the other
two Spartaci will be around - probably shopping, as Spartacus is wont to do.
Train home at XVIC hours on t'Sunday.

Works just fine dude. I'd prefer mono but I'll take anything I can get ;-)

I would have loved to if only I could have thought of a suitable photo.
Symmetry... Didn't ring a bell. Not the first time that I see the
gallery and then find I could have sent in a particular photo.

Still a great gallery and the few contributions are outstanding. Quality
before quantity.

Now, what was next month's subject again?

Thanks, Steve!

The scene caught my eye as we were driving through Kyoto on a bus. I
regret that I wasn't a bit quicker, so I could have captured more of the
old person on the right side of the frame.

Re: March PUG is up

2020-03-05 Thread Daniel J. Matyola
I agree; it is a very pleasing PUG.

I wish more members would participate. It is very well presented, and once
again I thank you, Brian, for all the effort and skill you devote to the
gallery each month. I appreciate it very much, and it is a big part of the
glue that holds this group together.

As for the images, I also find County Courthouse by Don to be a stunning
photo, sharp, clear and full of interesting detail.
My other favorite is Ann's Pick Tulip. It is simple in concept and
composition, yet quite powerful i effect. The colors are pleasing, the
background is fitting, and the detail in the flower petals quite
fascinating.
