Same here.

Wish I had more to show but I practically haven't been out of the house,
let alone to Dunkirk, since the beginning of Covid and I've made no more
than a few dozen shots since 2019.

I may not have been clear. Your message header has Comcast as your name. One
has to click on Comcast to see that it’s really you. Some peoples’ spam filters
might discard a message without offering a chance to do that.

For me, the list has been a friendly place where I can see good photography,
and get comments on mine from people I respect. I would like to see more posts
from more people too, but I’m not ready to leave. Where would I go?

Paul,

Your snowdrop pic did get a comment (though it deserved more).

I don’t see any other pics from you, though I’d like to.

On my computer (Mac, using the Mail app) messages from you still have Comcast
as your name in the list and in the headers. Some peoples’ spam filters might
be blocking them.

Re: Re: SDM question

I’m not quite at that point yet.

But I did take a look at the sample images:
https://www.pentaxforums.com/reviews/pentax-50-f14-comparison/samples-photos.html

It looks like they’ve got a winner optical formula. It’s nice to see images
that don’t look so flat as is too common in 35mm lens formulas.

Well, I got the 400-600 reflex zoom

2023-03-29 Thread collinb
Evaluation:

1. the F\*300/4.5 cropped is sharper than the 400-600.

2. If space requirements or size restrictions are critical then there’s no
other choice.

3. It’s a “good” lens. Results are acceptable.

4. Always support on a monopod or tripod. Use hand-held camera shake reduction
only in bright sunlight.
