Thanks Dave.

it was the first track in my digitised collection (some 30 GB of music)
that I came across with lyrics that worked, and was a bit of a piss-
take to boot.

It took about 2 hours to cut and another hour to finish off and stuff
into an MP4 file - all the time I could spare. I spent another 8 hours
digitising, logging and breaking down 90 mins of 'proper' footage into
shot types and subject matter. Editing about 12 minutes (what I reckon
it's worth) of screen time will take about another 48 hours aggregate -
one working week if I could do it like that. I've commissioned my son to
compose and record some solo guitar, as well as using the KPM online
music library. Perhaps I can forward you the fine cut so you can vet it
for personal taste before I put my suit on and go knocking on the
networks' doors?

Thanks for those shots Scott, and Bob's and Cotty's.

After doing this favor for the farm owner, the Pony only horse show, i
doubt i'll do it again next year.
Pretty much a waste of time. Half of the show was indoor, so no
photos, only 1 winner wanted a photos taken and most if not all of the
pony hunters are the farm kids, and they only steal from the site,
they don't buy.

I'll be buying a ticket for GFM in 2009 fur sure.

GFM refers to Grandfather Mountain in general, and with this crowd, the
Grandfather Mountain Nature Photography Weekend specifically.
http://grandfather.com/planning_your_visit/events/nphoto.php

The GFM NPW is the de facto annual gathering of the PDML and frequently
includes members from across the US, Canada, Europe and Australia. I've
made the trip the last two years and met some wonderful people. It's
nice to put faces to the names. Cameras and lenses flow freely, and if
Cesar is present you probably don't even need to bring one of your own.

Well worth the trip, IMHO.

You should check the GFM winners from 2 years ago (film). Tom Reese
(or his ladyfriend) had a positively spooky shot of the cougar in the
tree looking DOWN at them. I think that's why the encosure got an
extra 18 inches of fence...especially after the San Francisco Zoo's
tiger incident last week.
