Works for me, Peter. The background is not that distracting partially due to it's being of a like color tone. I have to say that the paper cup is very..er..obvious, but tolerable. Has the needed fine definition! Since I got the 100mm prime back in March I've taken tons of portraits of people I know a little or a lot, and I love looking at them, but I can't see publishing them because, well, they're just these people that nobody knows.
