PESO: A little Pause

Hi,

I had a very nice walk this Sunday at Brick Lane, London and made a little 
candid shot of a guy having a bit of break.


Now the way I had to photo him was a bit funny as when I first stopped next 
to him he was looking at me a bit unfriendly (at least that's how I felt). 
So I started taking pictures at the area (signs, this and that... whatever 
:D) and once he got familiar with me standing near and taking pictures he 
just started to act 'normal' again... so I grabbed the opportunity and took 
the picture. I've got this little tip (or trick) from DigitalRev TV on 
Youtube and I have to say it really works :)

Works for me, Peter. The background is not that distracting partially due to 
it's being of a like color tone. I have to say that the paper cup is 
very..er..obvious, but tolerable.
Has the needed fine definition!

what sort of post-processing did you do? He has an interesting and strong
face so I wouldn't think it would need much.

Peter, it's a wonderful face, good background, and an excellent portrait.  It 
looks to me over-processed, though--the weathered facial features are on the 
edge of looking fake.

Wow, that's very nice.

Since I got the 100mm prime back in March I've taken tons of portraits
of people I know a little or a lot, and I love looking at them, but I
can't see publishing them because, well, they're just these people
