Rick, there is no any connection between the person and the writing on the floor. Perhaps there is some, but I cannot think of any. So, honestly and brutally - probably bin... Yes, the disconnected arm does look a bit odd but I don't know how you could crop it out without upsetting the composition - which is otherwise very appealing. Re: PESO poll: Third Avenue
I like the third version, but it's not a real grabber of a subject. Well composed and rendered though. Someone mentioned noise. Don't see it on my calibrated monitor. I think we're getting a little wacky from picking apart the pixels in anything black. Paul On Dec 12, 2007, at 9:49 PM, Rick Womer wrote: A couple of weeks ago, I posted this pic. Re: PESO poll: Third Avenue
Honestly Rick, I'm not much interested in this image. I like the third image a little better, but it's noisy in the dark bits of the woman's pants. Ahem. Into the bit bin with them all, or is one of them a keeper? bit bin, I'm afraid - from my point of view... I just don't find the subject matter very intresting no matter how you crop it. if it were Fifth ave and the woman was loaded down with posh packages there would be a story there. I don't think it is quite strong enough to exist only as patterns. This is the first I've seen of it, btw - too crazed earlier to look at much. I also couldn't tell ,until you mentioned it, that the woman was stepping off a curb... not that it matters. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
