There were actually quite a few sunflowers in the field, but none with the smaller flowers, (I'm not sure if they were buds or not), on either side. In fact the less than perfect condition of the flower was what first attracted my attention to this particular bloom. Tom C wrote: I like it. Bokeh is nice. The flowers really 'pop'. I usually use the default sharpness setting when converting to TIFF. My focus may be a bit off though the full size image shows a great deal of relatively sharp detail in the center of the flower.
