Jay,

I hadn't realized you were in Seattle. I hope someday
we'll connect--let me know if you're ever in Philly.

Your shot is great--I like the position of the person
and the color.

 Rick,
I like the first shot especially with the fisheye,
 it accentuates the
architecture and the way you've framed the entry
 over to the right
that creates a dynamic with the folks coming from
 the background. The
only distraction is the heavy diagonal line of the
 sidewalk expansion
 joint.
#2 has some interesting patterns, but something
 about the image is
just not doing it for me. Perhaps if it were sharper
 or taken under
 different lighting .
I like # 3 also with the strong geometric patterns
 and the way it
draws you in. I took a similar shot last year from a
 slightly
different angle from the opposite direction with a
 single person
seated, but I think I like yours more with the group
 of folks

Thanks for your comments! I agree that the second
shot is a bit bland--the angles on the building are
very dramatic, but hard to capture. Next time I'm in

Well, i'm going to answer anyway.:-)

The third one is very good. The group of people seem to add an extra

Can't comment on the rendering. I'm using my daughter's PC laptop. But in terms
of subject matter and composition, I llike the first and third very much.
Paricularly that first shot of the facade. Great application of the rish. Good
