I regularly use the FA 35/2 on the K-5 or K-70 when I prefer to have a compact set with me. I'm always happy with the results. Reading the positive test results from Yoshihiko Takinami on his website was the reason for me to buy this lens around the millennium change. I don't yet have the 24-70. I have the DFA 15-30 which is a very nice lens. I have stopped carrying it when traveling - too large. For the occasional wide shot I carry an A series 20mm. The 15-30,24-70, and 70-200 will probably be up for sale later this year - still trying to resolve camera and lens needs vs my too large inventory. The Sigma EX 10-20mm is a heck of a lens for ultra wide. KEH had two of the FA 35/2.0 I just snagged the LN- with caps & hood. I have had one since it was first announced and guard it zealously. I'd imagine other owners are just as protective. Looking at my current catalog, I see it is eclipsed only by the FA50 1.4 in number of photos produced. I'm not certain how many were produced but I'm damn glad I got one.
