How does one go about changing one's e-address for
purposes of this list? Inquiring minds want to know.

[peirce-l] Peirce, Emerson, Whitman

2006-03-10 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Hi all,

I'm at the very beginning of a project tracing lines of continuity running
through Emerson, Whitman, and Peirce--I'm especially interested in ways in
which Emerson's approach to nature can be construed as consistent with
Peirce's metaphysics, and how Whitman's poetic practice might profit from a
Peircean reading. (I'm aware that Peirce defined his own views in part in
contrast to Emerseon, and don't want to ignore that, but also don't want to
let it blot out possible congruities.)

Anyway, any primary/secondary sources, or even just inspired suggestions,
are very welcome!

Cheers,

Jeff
